How to Hide or Delete Pages in Your PDF Export

When it comes to presenting your business plan, you may not need to include every single page. In fact, sometimes it's better to only include the most important sections to keep your audience engaged. This is where the hide page feature comes in handy. With this feature, you can remove certain pages from your exported file without deleting them entirely. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to hide or delete pages in your PDF export.

Step 1: Access the Hide Page Feature

There are two ways in which you can access the hide and delete icons.

The first method is by selecting Plan from the left side menu of your dashboard. This will bring you to the All Pages view, where you can see all the pages in your document.

Once you have accessed the All Pages view, you can hover your mouse over the top right corner of any page. This will reveal the hide and delete icons for that page. The eyeball icon is for hiding the page, while the trash can icon is for deleting it.

The second method of accessing these icons is by hovering your mouse of the top right corner of any page, while you are in single page view.

Step 2: Making your Changes

Go through your plan and click on the hide icon for every page you wish to hide from your PDF export.

If you change your mind and decide you want to include a page that you previously selected to hide, simply click on the hide icon again to deselect it.

After your PDF file has been generated, open it to make sure the pages you selected to hide are not included. If you need to make any changes, simply repeat the steps above to access the hide page feature and make any necessary adjustments.

Removing an Entire Section

If you want to remove an entire section from your PDF export, you will need to hide or delete all the pages in that section. Once you have hidden or deleted all the pages, the section will not appear at all in the exported file.

Deleting Pages Instead of Hiding Them

If you decide that you no longer need certain pages in your business plan at all, you can also choose to delete them instead of just hiding them. To do this, simply follow the same steps outlined above, but instead of clicking on the hide icon, click on the delete icon. This will permanently remove the selected pages from your business plan.

Keep in mind that once you delete a page, it cannot be recovered. If you think you may need the information on that page in the future, it's best to just hide it instead of deleting it.

You will also notice that none of the pages from the Financial section have the delete icon available. These pages can only be hidden.
