Creating projections can be difficult when revenue and expenses vary greatly. To address this, Venturekit has developed a feature designed specifically for seasonal businesses that need greater flexibility in preparing their financial forecasts.

As outlined in the guide How to Make Changes to Your Financial Data, there is now a standalone category called Varying Amounts Over Time under Revenue Types. Additionally, this option can also be found as an Expense type, specifically under the categories of Cost of Goods Sold, Operating Expenses, and Personnel.

This option will be most useful if you want to be able to manually adjust values for individual months at any point throughout your 5 year projection.

You have the choice to complete each cell in the table, one by one, or your can enter in a value in the first month of the year, then click on Apply Values Right and the system will populate the remaining fields for that year.
